• Sequence Patent Search & Analysis is a practical professional program focused on patent searching and analysis involving biological sequences, including DNA, RNA, and protein sequences. Participants learn sequence patent fundamentals, sequence listings, ST.25 and ST.26 standards, sequence identification, accession numbers, NCBI and BLAST fundamentals, patent sequence databases, exact and similarity sequence searching, BLAST-based patent searching, and sequence analysis.
• The program further covers claim-to-sequence mapping, sequence identity and similarity analysis, AI-assisted sequence analysis, sequence-based patent landscapes, patent family and legal status analysis, mutation and variant searches, sequence-to-patent mapping, and professional reporting. Participants complete practical DNA and protein sequence projects and a biological sequence landscape project before final presentation and certification. Course Outcome: Participants will develop the specialized skills required to work as a Sequence Patent Search Specialist.
